wondering whether there are any books that you could be reading before
term begins. There are! At the bottom of this entry you'll find a link
to a short booklist. Do hold on to that "

be reading" though. It will stand you in good stead when the course
begins but no-one will expect you to have ploughed your way through
every volume!

You might be wondering why this post seems to be so very much like the previous one. Well, it's because I don't seem to be able to link two files to the same entry.....
This year we really are planning ahead. Our guest speaker for the conference - which will be on June 13th 2007 - will be Tim Bond. Tim has been to Newport before - he came when we interviewed him for our "Tim Bond in Conversation" video early in 2006. That's both available in the library and for sale - you can find out more about it here.
As always, the event will be open to all our counselling students. Watch this space for further details as they become available!
Sadly, Tim has just told us that he's not going to be able to make it this year after all. We'll let you know who's going to be taking his place as soon as we know.
