Micro Teaching and Teaching Observations...................
I was really nervous the night before the Micro Teach. All night I was up, could not have a nice sleep because of a strange combination of nervousness and excitement. However for some strange reasons, I delivered my lesson with utmost ease and confidence, even my peers said that I appeared very confident. I finished my lesson a few minutes early. This is something I need to keep in mind in future. All in all, I think Micro Teaching was good fun and we all enjoyed it and had the opportunity to share practice and learn from each other.
In The Parade, I have been observing two different classes for more than two weeks now. For the first time, I taught these classes last week, each session lasting for 45 mins. Despite showing some signs of nervousness, I managed both the classes OK. The experience increased my confidence and I am looking forward to teach for full two hours on Moday and Wednesday because my mentor is away and I am being asked to teach the class.
